Description: Through this invitation to bid, Utah County intends to select a qualified contractor to provide approximately 5,000 tons of asphalt during the term of this contract. The County will pick up the asphalt from supplier's plant as needed for road patching and small road maintenance projects. The asphalt at the time of pickup by the County shall be located within the main transportation corridor of Utah County, or at the Point of the Mountain in Slat Lake County, or in the Mona area of Juab County. The supplier will be required to supply the asphalt, scales to weigh the asphalt, and equipment and labor to load the asphalt into county-owned trucks. Bid packets containing all specifications and requirements are available on-line at www.bidsync.com. There is no cost to suppliers to sign up with BidSync. Bids will be accepted until 3:00 pm MDT on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Utah County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
