Description: Through this invitation to bid, Utah County intends to select a qualified contractor to perform one-way chaining of a wildfire burn area of approximately 330 acres, consisting of sagebrush, oakbrush, pinyon, and juniper trees, located on the south and east foothills of Lake Mountain in Utah County. Mandatory prebid conference to be conducted at 10:00 am (Mountain time) Thursday, September 25, 2014. Meet at the intersection of Soldiers Pass Road and SR 68 (west of Utah Lake approximately 15 miles north of Elberta). Bid packets containing all specifications and requirements are available online at www.bidsync.com. There is no cost to suppliers to sign up with BidSync. Bids will be accepted until 3:00 pm MDT on Thursday, October 2, 2014. Utah County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
