Provo (October 2, 2024) — Business View Magazine, a widely viewed online news source for executives, entrepreneurs, small business owners, and franchisees recently highlighted Utah County with an article titled: The County Embracing Growth and Innovation, recognizing the County’s hard work and planning as the county continues to grow.
Business View credits the county as “a place where innovation and tradition coexist, economic opportunities are abundant, and natural beauty and vibrant culture create a thriving, desirable environment for all.”
“Utah County’s success is not a secret, so I wasn’t surprised Business View was interested in featuring us,” said Commissioner Brandon Gordon who was interviewed for the article. “But I’m thrilled at the comprehensive coverage of all our partners and all the hard work that’s going into creating a favorable environment for everyone.”
Business View highlighted the growth in tech-oriented Lehi and Vineyard, the Spanish Fork area inland port project (Verk), and its work to expand its transportation network and the Provo Regional Airport.
“Truly what’s fueling our prosperity is a robust workforce ecosystem built on two important attributes: collaboration and innovation,” explains President and CEO of the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce Curtis Blair in the article.
At the same time the county works to support quality of life for residents with walkable neighborhoods, plenty of open spaces, and recreational opportunities, the magazine points out that education and workforce development are thriving, along with infrastructure projects to accommodate the growth.
Utah County partners with the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCUtah), and its mayors and city council members, to increase its appeal to future residents and businesses.
