Welcome to the Utah County Surveyor's Office.
The history of the Surveyor's Office in Utah County can be traced back to 1898.
Eleven people have held office since then.The County Surveyor office is responsible for
identifying, protecting, and updating the section corner monuments
(Public Land Survey System) that define record title (real property boundary’s) interests.
Through that process they help to protect property rights.
The office also acts as a depository for all records of survey and is responsible for performing survey work for Utah County.
