Children's Justice Center

DONATIONS:

Monetary Donations

The Friends of Utah County Children's Justice Center ("Friends") is a volunteer organization and 501c3 that cares deeply for the welfare of children in our community. The members donate their time, money and talents to help support the mission of the Children's Justice Center (CJC). In addition to providing and maintaining both CJC buildings, the Friends cover the cost of therapy, $100,000 or more per year, for children and families who cannot otherwise afford treatment.

You can make cash donations through PayPal or Venmo: @CJC-Provo.

You can also send your tax deductible contribution to:

The Friends are in need of new board members to help in the mission to provide a safe, home-like place to interview child victims of abuse. If you are interested, please fill out this application and email it to: RebeccaM@utahcounty.gov

In-Kind Donations (Other)

  • Snacks, Drinks and other needs:
We ALWAYS need donations of snacks and drinks. You can click here for a list of items that are most commonly needed.

  • Activity Kits:
When the families arrive, the law enforcement and DCFS case worker get as much information as possible from the parents or caretakers on the alleged abuse. While the parents are busy, the children spend time with an onsite volunteer or a staff member. When possible, they are given their own age-appropriate activity kits to keep them busy and occupied. These items are generously donated by the community. Click here for a list of activity kit ideas.

  • Holiday Needs:
Every year in December, the CJC holds a Santa's Giftshop for families in need during the holidays. Families are assigned a specific time to come to the CJC to "shop" for Christmas gifts for the children. All new items are donated by the community and you can click here for a list of items.
