We have two horses that will be sold at silent auction. Their owners were unable to care for them and gave them up to us. Before and after pictures tell the story.
***PRESS RELEASE - HORSE AUCTION September 14, 2021 ***
The Utah County Sheriff's Office has two beautiful horses up for auction - Cinnamon and Duke! The owners gave them up to the Sheriff's Office because they were unable to care for them. They have been in our care for a little over two weeks. In that time, we have slowly been bringing their weight back up and getting them healthier. So far there has been no colic or foundering issues and both horses are doing well. Both have been seen by a veterinarian, had their teeth floated, and been dewormed. Both appear to be quarter horses. Duke, the black horse, is a gelding, and around 20. Cinnamon, the sorrel horse, is a mare, and around 15. They both appear to have had some training done with them. They love attention and enjoy being brushed and eating treats. We have had no problems haltering them or trailering them. Their health has a way to go but we are hoping they can find a forever home where they will be cared for, loved, and continue on their way back to full health. Please consider bidding if you can care for them and give them a loving home!
The Utah County Sheriff's Office will be auctioning both horses individually. A gelding and a mare. The auction begins the morning of September 15, 2021, and ends on September 25, 2021, at noon. The auction will be a "sealed bid" auction. Bids will be accepted at Utah County Sheriff's Office located at 3075 North Main Street, Spanish Fork, UT 84660 or at the South Utah Valley Animal Shelter located at 582 West 3000 North, Spanish Fork, UT 84660. If you are mailing the bid send it to the Utah County Sheriff?s Office address above.
