On September 27th, 2017, following a 2- day jury trial, Stephen Anderson Wold, 28, of Highland, Utah, was convicted of Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Child, a first-degree felony.
In 2010, Wold, then 21 years old, molested a 10-year old girl while he was babysitting her at his Highland house.
Stephen Wold will remain out-of-custody until November 30, 2017, at which time he will be sentenced by the Honorable Judge Christine S. Johnson and faces a minimum sentence of 6 years to life at the Utah State Prison. Additionally, as a result of the guilty verdict, Wold is required to register for life on the National Sex Offender Registry.
