Online Bidder Registration Procedures and Information

Online Bidder registration is currently closed. It will reopen at least four weeks prior to the Tax Sale in May and close at 4:00 pm the day before the sale. Bidders that have missed the online bidder registration window may still register in person on the day of the sale.

Registration and check-in will begin at 9:00 am, close at 10:00 am and does not reopen. There is no fee or deposit required to register. Any individual that was not in-line prior to 9:59 am will not be allowed to register. Any online bidder that has not checked-in and been issued their bid paddle prior to 10:00 am also will not be allowed to participate. No execeptions!

County ordinance 21-5-2. Bidder Registration Procedures.
All individuals interested in participating in the annual real property tax sale shall be required to preregister and receive a bid number in order to participate in the tax sale. An individual interested in bidding for more than one entity, shall be required to register for a bid number for each such entity. Tax deeds will only be prepared in the name of the successful bidder as shown on the bidder registration form. All tax sale participants shall be required to register before the tax sale bidding starts, to eliminate any confusion after the start of the tax sale. (Ord. No. 1996-07, 04-30-96)

All bidders must appear in person on the day of the sale in order to place a bid. Absentee bids will not be accepted. Bids also will not be accepted via email, phone, online, by letter, or any other form of communication other than in person on the day of the sale.
