The Utah County Sheriff's Office is offering a FREE R.A.D. for Men class. This course is designed to empower participants to make safer choices when confronted with aggressive behavior.

January 28, 2020 - the Utah County Sheriff's Office is offering a R.A.D. basic self-defense course for men.  Sheriff Mike Smith and the R.A.D. staff and instructors feel strongly about the value of this course and with the UCSO it is always offered free of charge to participants.  This course is for male participants ages 12 and up.  It will give them the opportunity to raise their awareness of aggressive behavior, recognize how aggressive behavior impacts their lives, learn steps to avoid such behavior, consider how they can be part of reducing aggression and violence, and practice hands-on self-defense skills to resist and escape aggression directed toward them.  This program is designed to empower participants to make safer choices when confronted with aggressive behavior.  This class is taught in the evening over three days and participants are asked to commit to attend each three hour session.  The class times are as follows:

Tuesday, February 18, 6:00-9:00 PM

Wednesday, February 19, 6:00-9:00 PM

Thursday, February 20, 6:00-9:00 PM
