MICHAEL ARAM JENKINS

After a five-day trial, a jury found Michael Aram Jenkins guilty on four counts of Forcible Sexual Abuse, second degree felonies, and two counts of Lewdness, class B misdemeanors.

In the latter part of 2015, a 16-year-old male played baseball on a club team coached by Michael Aram Jenkins. Jenkins also employed the male as a part- time employee. At the beginning of his employment, Jenkins would occasionally ask for neck and back massages from the male. The back massages soon became full body massages and on at least one occasion, Jenkins got completely naked for the massage by the male. During the massages, Jenkins asked the male to massage his bare buttocks and his inner thighs close to his genitals. Jenkins began offering to return the favor by giving the male massages. Jenkins would rub the male's bare buttocks and on at least one occasion, Jenkins touched the male's penis and testicles through his clothing while massaging the male's inner thighs.

In or about February 2016, a fellow team-mate and employee walked into the room when the 16-year-old male was giving Jenkins a massage while Jenkins was naked. The incident was reported to police and after conducting an investigation, the Utah County Attorney's Office charged Jenkins with Forcible Sexual Abuse and Sexual Battery.

Sentencing is scheduled for September 9, 2017, in front of the Honorable James R. Taylor.
