The Friends of the Utah County Children's Justice Center invite you to be 1 of the #CJC100. They are challenging everyone to take the pledge and join in on the 1st Annual 100 Campaign Drive. We're asking individuals, neighborhoods, religious congregations, businesses, schools, pretty much EVERYONE to pledge to raise $1,000 during 2021 to donate to the Utah County Children's Justice Center (CJC).
The Friends of the Utah County Children's Justice Center is the fundraising arm of the Center. They are a 501-c-3 organization dedicated to supporting the programs of the Children's Justice Center to serve abuse children and their families in our communities.
In 2020 the CJC saw 873 kids for interviews. 77% percent of those kids were interviewed regarding sexual abuse victimization. The Board strongly believes each child and family that is served at the Center should receive the trauma-focused services they need to heal without having the additional stress of financial strain.
We greatly appreciate the generosity of Utah County citizens. We have been overwhelmed with gratitude at the way this community rallies together to assist the most vulnerable, time after time. Do you want to get involved but are not sure how you could possible raise $1,000? We have you covered; download the document below. It has 100 different ways you can potentially raise $1,000.
Note from the Director: The Utah County Children's Justice Center is a homelike facility that coordinates a multidisciplinary approach to the investigation of child abuse cases. I believe that every child and family that is experiencing the crisis and chaos that comes from the disclosure of abuse deserves to be heard in a safe, affirming environment. I know that families who come through the Center get onto the path of healing quicker. Thank you in advance for supporting our center and the important work we do here in our community.
Thank you for your support,
Rebecca Martell, LCSW
