Congratulations to the winners of the Utah County Kick Butts Day Video Contest! Youth 12 to 18 were able to enter a 30 second video, depicting why "they aren't a target" or one of several other themes. Over 60 videos were received. Most of the videos were uploaded to our YouTube channel, which you can find by going to www.tinyurl.com/KickButts2014.
First place went to the video entitled Big Tobacco is Looking For New Customers -- seen here. The video was done by James Albright, Ruth Everett, Jared Gheen, Rose Graham, Jonathon Luther, Sy Phommabouth, Gabriel Sampson, Andrew Stevenson, Derek Sturman, and RiLee White.
Second place was for Kick Butts - Don't Be A Target, shown here. It was done by ALC Films, including Jennifer Baker, Robert Garcia, Tucker Lund, Kyle Nielson, and RiLee White.
Third place was presented to a video entitled Charred Chemicals, shown here, by Leah Daybell, Seth Daybell, and Lela Packard.
The video contest was sponsored by OUTRAGE (Youth against Tobacco), Island Teens Against Tobacco (ITAC), Latinos In Action, Utah Department of Health's Way to Quit, Utah County Health Department, and R&R Partners.
