BRANDON LYNN ADAMS

On January 4, 2018, Brandon Lynn Adams, age 32, of Kearns, Utah, was sentenced to 1-15 years at the Utah State Prison for Enticing a Minor and Attempted Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, both felonies.

Adams pleaded guilty to Enticing a Minor (2nd degree felony) and Attempted Sexual Exploitation of a Minor (3rd degree felony) on September 21, 2017 in the 4th District Court.

Brandon Adams was arrested on January 18, 2017, in Lehi at a prearranged location where he was to meet a father with his 13-year-old daughter. The plan was that Adams would engage in sexual acts with the 13-year-old girl, while the father looked on. During the email conversations between the defendant and the father, Adams mentioned wanting to commit sodomy of a child, rape of a child and sexual abuse of a child. With the permission of the father, Adams emailed the 13-year-old girl directly to request nude pictures and he sent her pictures of a young, nude female. Unbeknownst to Adams, his conversations were with officers from Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC).
